Project: Finished Bathroom!!!

It's finally finished....I have a working shower, sink and toilet. All that's missing is someone to pick my towels off of the floor in the morning, and have them washed and waiting for me when I get home. Maybe I can train Lilly.

Project: The Bathroom that was never finished

Here's the update. Shower tile is all up, needs to be grouted. The floors' fate is still undecided. The new paint color is up. Finishing touches are being saved till last. I want my bathroom back.

More Progress

Well, I've finally started tiling the shower, and the floor has been patched. Now I need to dremel out all the floor grout, then re-grout....finish the shower tile, install the new bead board and baseboard....and a bunch of other details.

Project: Extreme Bathroom Makeover

So...as predicted by my friends, a few tiles needing replaced on the shower has led to an entirely new bathroom. Tomorrow will be officially one week without a functioning shower. Restoring the tile floor has required some cement removal, and re-bracing of the floor, but I think the end result will be worth it. This weekends goals: Fix floor under the toilet, lay floor tile, and begin tiling the shower surround. Stay tuned.

Project: Bathroom Update

Bathroom demo is complete....and revealed a beautiful hexagon tile floor still mostly intact. There are a few areas needing repair, but I was able to find the matching tile at a tile warehouse this weekend. Next step is to clean up the floor, prep it and repair in, as well as putting up backerboard and a moisture barrier.
