It's no secret that I love Mickey Mouse. I love drawing him, I love visiting him in Disneyland, and I love the fact that he was inspired by the pet mouse Walt Disney kept in the drawer of his laugh-o-gram's studio, which coincidentally, just happens to be a few blocks from where I'm sitting right now. I'm sure it was nice to have a little pet hidden in his desk drawer. A little companion on the long nights of animating. In contrast to my present day situation....I AM NOT a fan of the little mouse that has decided to take up refuge within the walls of my kitchen. Every morning I find little gifts, neatly placed in a trail on my kitchen counter. And some mornings, if I'm lucky, some food bag/box has been eaten through. Today I am declaring war. I am calling out all the stops, and won't rest until I have a dead mouse.
Mouse tip: They say Dogs are actually better than cats when it comes to a mouse problem. I would highly disagree. Unless the mouse is wrapped in raw hide, I doubt Lilly is going to do anything about it.
